Join Us On Our Journey …

Our first trip after a break in lockdown, meeting Geoff, Jane & Jake for a long weekend at Longnor Wood Caravan Park.

We’ve seen pictures of Chrome Hill in Trail magazine and this hill is a little gem. Very shapely and standing prominently in its surroundings, it looks an enticing climb. The views from the top are superb and the scramble up over its dragon back are exciting.

After completing part of the Tissington Trail on the bikes, we completed two further treks on the Priest’s Way and around the hamlets of Shining Ford, Fawfieldhead and Boosley Grange. Easy paths, and beautiful wild flowers, but we did get chased out of a field by some stroppy young cows who seemed bothered by Jake.
