Gillian and Adrian met ten years ago and made an impulsive purchase of Herdy, our motorhome, in late 2019.
Since then we have both made the decision to leave work and explore.
Our first, and abiding, passion is to be in the mountains. Living close to the Lake District, we’ve completed all 214 Wainwright summits twice together. Herdy has given us the freedom to climb mountains in Scotland, the Pyrenees and the Alps.
When we’ve not got our boots on, we’ll be on the bikes. They give us a great way to get out and explore straight from Herdy’s door. Our cycling highlight, so far, was the iconic Tour de France route up Alpe d’Huez.
More recently we have dipped our toes into cold water swimming.
